Zazen

The Eigenji Temple is a Zen temple(Soto sect) that was built in the year 1634.
　There are a temple gate, a main temple, a mortuary tablet hall,
the Goddess of Mercy hall, a Zazen hall,
priest's living quarters and a few little buildings on the grounds of the Eigenji.
The activities of the Eigenji are as follows.
Regular Zazen meetings,　Baika (Soto sect's songs) meetings,
sutras hand-copying sessions, meetings for the Godness of Mercy,
funerals, memorial services for ancestors.
